RUG5 EXPANSION

The expansion boards listed below expand the functionality and I/O count of the RUG5.  The RUG5 has 2 expansion slots in addition to its base I/O (4 AI, 8 DI, 4 DO) for a total possible discrete I/O count of 33 I/O points.   All boards below can be used in the RUG5's two expansion slots without restriction.


For installation, each board slides into the unit's expansion slot and is secured with a cover plate using a single screw.   All discrete wiring connections are made to the boards using a removable Euro-style screw header that can accept up to 12-guage wires.

4 CHANNEL ANALOG INPUT

    -16 bit resolution, 4 channel analog input board.
   -Compatible with 4-20 mA industry standard current loops.
   -Full channel to channel optical isolation enables insertion into existing current loops.
   -Factory calibration stored in onboard EEPROM.
   -Onboard protection against reverse voltage application and overvoltage.
